Items needed: Brush, comb, water, hairspray/gel, 4 rubber bands.

Time requirement: 5 minutes

Competence level: Easy

Step by step instructions:

1. Start by brushing the hair until there are no tangles left.

2. Begin by wetting the hair with a spray bottle and lightly part the hair from the center. (either side will work)

3. Once you reach about the middle of the head, cut out a part in the center and finish the part up to the nape of the neck.

4. Use a rubber band or a clip to hold a smaller portion of hair out of the way.

5. Starting right next to the parting, start twisting the hair into place. Add hair gradually as you twist to create an even twist. I move it away from the face towards the back of the head. Continue the twist as you come down above the ear and down to the nape behind the ear. Add a rubber band to create a ponytail.

6. Repeat on the other side. At this point, you have two options. Option #1, leave the hair straight in a ponytail. Add curls or smooth with a straightener. Option #2, braid the rest of the hair and add another elastic. Add flowers, ribbons or other accessories to embellish it…

Add flowers, ribbons or other accessories to spruce it up. I hope you like it as much as we do!

Good hairstyle!
